‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Spoilers: Captain America Lifts Thor's Hammer, Mjolnir! Will The First Avenger Wear The Infinity Gauntlet Next?

More spoilers emerge for "Avengers: Age of Ultron." One of the scenes will feature a light moment between Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but does it foreshadow a significant event in Phase 3?

The rumors website Latino Review had a major spoiler scoop. It featured events that allegedly make up the first twenty minutes of the film.

Based on the chronology of the films, the movie picks up after the events of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and we find the heroes rounding up the HYDRA Agents. This will eventually lead them to their first encounter with the twins Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

Predictably, the Avengers would take that one and lead to a 'victory party' at their new crib, Avengers Tower (courtesy of Tony Stark) and no party is complete without a little dare. Latino Review describes it:

"Eventually The Avengers win, capture the staff and the bad guys. The team then goes back to Avengers Tower and have one poppin' party. The whole team takes turns trying to pick up Thor's hammer Mjolnir. This is their party thing. Rhodey is in this scene by the way. Tony Stark tries to pick up Mjolnir in his Iron Man armor and the arm accidentally falls off the armor. Oops. Captain America can budge it a tad but can't pick it up! Now they may change this because the canon in the comics is that Cap can pick it up so we will have to wait and see. It will probably freak out hardcore fanboys."

Of course, the fanboys will be on this one. In a video commentary from YouTube channel "Emergency Awesome," the speaker points out that Captain America can actually lift and wield Mjolnir. From the Marvel Wiki: "(The Worthiness) enchantment surrounding Mjolnir prevents it from being wielded by anyone save those who have been found worthy. Thus far, this includes Thor, the Red Norvell, Odin, Beta Ray Bill, and Captain America. To anyone else, Mjolnir cannot be lifted from the ground nor wrested from Thor's grip. Those who are deemed worthy are able to wield Thor's powers. Captain America said 'I've never wielded such limitless power before! It's almost intoxicating!'"

It was also pointed out that Captain America eventually wielded the Infinity Gauntlet in the comics-designated because he has "a noble heart." Will this storyline be used in the future? We already have easter eggs of the Infinity Gauntlet and the six gems are central to the Marvel Universe (though they are not in 'gem' form) and Thanos has already been confirmed.

As always, the 'spoilers' have not been confirmed. We'll need to wait until May 6, 2016 for that.
