'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' Rumors are coming, and they tackle more than just the movie but also the future of the characters.

Ben Affleck is Batman, deal with it! But Warner Bros. is still being cautious with the idea, and they are not rushing what everyone is anticipating. The basis for the schedule of Warner's DC movies was based on a list by Nikki Finke on her website. However, the solo Batman movie was not a part of that list, which included a Wonder Woman solo movie and a team up of Flash and Green Lantern.

From the scoop website Latino Review, the first mention of a Batman solo film, and an explanation on why Bruce Wayne's stand alone feature must wait:

"Let's break it down. Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice League should be ending production in December, then they break for the holidays and go into production on Justice League in the winter of 2015.

Affleck then takes a break from donning the cape and in the summer of 2015, he writes, directs, and stars in his period gangster film Live By Night. The film's scheduled to hit theaters in October 2016. The studio has the time after Live By Night's release to develop the screenplay to the standalone Batman film ready to start production either in 2017 or 2018. It wouldn't surprise me if they actively start developing the script after Justice League or sooner."

The logical follow-up question would be the director of the film. Considering that most people respect Affleck as a director more than an actor, it would seem like a no-brainer that Affleck would bring his helming prowess to the project.

Latino Review does not give any information on that, but they do cite that the actual negotiations for Affleck to take the Batman role took months, and the details are undisclosed.

These are still speculation though, and it is highly possible that all the release dates could be moved.
