‘Hulk’ Movie Rumors: Planet Hulk, Ripping Wolverine Apart [VIDEO] And Superpowers You’ve Never Known! What We'd Like To See In A Full Feature On The Green Giant!

As Mark Ruffalo has often teased, the Hulk will probably have his own solo movie, perhaps some time after Phase 3 is over. That is just right, because the Hulk is one of the most powerful and colorful Marvel characters.

In a recent feature on Listverse by Aaron Short, featuring lesser known facts (in the comic world) about the Hulk, we realize that there are many storylines for a solo Hulk movie.

The most popular clamor right now is Planet Hulk. Parts of it are already in play, like Tony Stark becoming the world's security officer-and his ever-growing insecurity of the Hulk's near limitless powers. 'Planet Hulk' has Stark sending off the Green Giant to a wormhole, hopefully getting rid of him forever. But:

From Listverse: "He ends up being sent to Sakaar, a planet teeming with intelligent life. The Hulk is then enslaved by its natives. He fights his way to freedom, becomes the leader of a resistance army, conquers the whole world, and leads his new army back to Earth for revenge."

Here's another storyline that might be challenging to produce, but after Phase 3, who knows? The Hulk literally rips Wolverine apart. Literally. The storyline from Ultimate Wolverine Vs Hulk:

"Wolverine finally tracks Banner down to a monastery, where he is being worshiped as a god by a harem of beautiful, half-naked ladies. Understandably, the Hulk is not pleased with Wolverine's interruption. The two face off. So, how does Wolverine fare against the Hulk? In the very first issue, the Hulk tears Wolverine in half like a sheet of paper, tosses his bottom half four miles away onto the top of a mountain, and leaves him to crawl home."

Here's the video. Tell me you don't want to see this played out live on the big screen:

The Hulk is much more powerful than you think, based on these storylines. Additional notes on his powers: "First, his strength is entirely rage based. This means that, if the Hulk encounters an enemy he can't beat, he simply gets angrier, which in turn makes him stronger. He can leap large distances and has managed to literally jump into orbit at least once. Among his more bizarre powers is a gland that allows him to breathe underwater by creating pressure in his lungs. It gets weirder: He can see ghosts. Because of this, he's one of the few Marvel characters that can see Doctor Strange when the latter takes astral form."
