'Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1' Trailer Teaser Released: President Snow Played By Donald Sutherland Gives Panem Propaganda Address: Watch Here [VIDEO]

The Hunger Games Mockingjay has done something really interesting with its trailer. A trailer is usually a collection of cool clips from a movie or tv show, set to a deep voiced announcer giving away the best parts of the plot. "The Hunger Games Mockingjay" has done something different, taking a page from Shepard Fairey's book, instead they have released videos and posters as fake propaganda from the movie's universe.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1's" teaser trailer is a one-minute propaganda speech from President Snow warning district residents to fall in lineSnow (Donald Sutherland) sits on a white throne or big chair, with Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) standing by as he addresses the nation.

"Since the dark days our great nation has known only peace," he says. "Ours is an elegant system, conceived to nourish and protect.

"Your districts are the body, the Capitol is the beating heart. Your hard work feeds us, and in return we feed and protect you."

The speech then takes a turn for the malevolent, with Snow declaring: "But if you resist the system, you starve yourself. If you fight against it, it is you who will bleed. I know you will stand with me, with us, with all of us, together, as one.

Tim Palen, the head of the marketing for Lionsgate said, "When we started, we decided to look at this as one big movie that's eight hours long. Otherwise, it's going to be kind of overwhelming to do a new campaign for each movie." He revealed in an interview with Variety that there will be reveals of the marketing campaign at the Cannes Film Festival in May and San Diego Comic Con.

The Hunger Games Catching Fire grossed, 864,565,663, and the original Hunger Games grossed 691,247,768. Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 will be released November 21, 2014.
