Katy Perry has a new role, political star maker. Just days after Katy Perry posted an Instagram selfie hoto with Hillary Clinton, she posed for a selfie with Vice President Joe Biden. Both Biden and Clinton are potential presidential contenders for the Democratic nomination in 2016. Katy Perry thought she was just a tourist when her Prismatic World Tour stopped in Washington D.C. Now she's a president maker.

On June 24, Katy Perry posted the Instagram selfie with Vice President Biden to her Instagram with the caption "Brought my pink pony to the White House to holler @VP Joe Biden. #wheninwashington  p.s. He made me call my 93 year old grandma to thank her for my baby blue eyes! What a Q-T."

Katy stopped at the Washington Monument on her way to the White House posting a pic to Instagram with the caption, "DC! Tonight's gonna be on point, every pun intended! #THEPRISMATICWORLDTOUR photo by @ronysphotobooth."

An official from Biden's office told CNN that Vice President Biden and his granddaughter are Katy Perry fans and he invited her to meet them while she is in town.

This weekend  Katy Perry socialized with former First Lady and rumored presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton over the weekend. Katy lent her support to Bill Clinton's wife. Perry promoted the release of Clinton's new memoir, Hard Choices and made a very special offer.

Katy Perry put a selfie with Hillary Clinton on Instagram with the caption: "I told @hillaryclinton that I would write her a 'theme' song if she needs it..."

Clinton took to Twitter on Sunday, June 22, to say "@katyperry Well that's not a Hard Choice. You already did! Keep letting us hear you Roar."

Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton have yet to officially declare their candidacies for 2016.
