K-Pop Idols Appearing In Upcoming Dramas

A new batch of dramas is going to begin soon, and more idols will be heading to the small screen. Some idols who have been cast in upcoming dramas have experience acting, while some others are trying their hand at acting for the very first time.

This week will introduce the new KBS drama, High School - Love On, which stars not only one of INFINITE's members, but two. Both Woohyun and Sungyeol will play the male leads. But they're not the only idols that will appear in the youthful drama-Crayon Pop's Choa also has a role in the show.

Marriage Without Dating, tvN's upcoming anticipated drama, also begins this week. 2AM's Jung Jinwoon, who is best known as an actor for his role in Dream High 2, will play the secondary male character, and Secret's Sunhwa will also be playing a major role; she recently appeared in God's Gift - 14 Days.

The mid-July drama Temptation doesn't have any K-Pop idols in the lead roles, but both CNBLUE's Jungshin and Miss A's Fei will be appearing in the show.

Shinhwa's leader Eric is a very popular actor, and will be appearing in the late-summer KBS2 drama, Finding True Love. He will be playing a man who rediscovers his ex when she's dating someone else.

It's Alright, That's Love will have EXO's D.O in a supporting role, playing a high school student who dreams of being a novelist. The drama will begin on July 23, on SBS.

Another CNBLUE member, Yonghwa, will be one of the main characters in August's The Three Musketeers. Rather than being based off of the books written by Alexandre Dumas, the drama will take place in the Joseon period of Korean history.

These are just a few of the idols that will be hitting television sets and computer screens this summer.
