During the second half of Brazil vs. Germany, with the scoreboards reading 7-0, soon to turn 7-1, "Nazi" started to trend on Twitter. That wasn't because a high school WWII class decided to implement what they learned on their Twitter accounts. People were describing Germany's total domination with Nazi jokes. But the Malaysian MP went too far when he tweeted "LONG LIVE HITLER".

The Nazi jokes tended to veer away from being offensive to being more of a pun.

While most of the Twitter users relied on historic facts and word puns to get cheap laughs, the Malaysian MP Bung Mokhtar Radin went a little too far. Either he still has a tough time making jokes in English or he really is an avid supporter of Adolf Hitler.

When interviewed for his controversial comment, the MP seemed nonchalant, "I don't know what's wrong with people sometimes. Hitler is part of history and the German team fought like how he did," Bung told The Star Online.

He still didn't get it.

According to Washington Post, Germany's Ambassador to Malaysia, Holger Michael, said that the team "strongly reject the unacceptable allusion to the fascist regime of Adolf Hitler".

Malaysian MP got virtually kicked out of the German team's changing room.
