As Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire prepares for its November release date, a new function has been announced that will no doubt please fans.

According to PokeJungle, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will allow players to create secret bases like the original games.

Reportedly, friends (or Secret Pals) can be invited and powers such as faster egg hatching can be shared when people come to secret bases. Other powers include raising your Pokemon's level and receiving new decorations.

Reportedly, not only are secret bases customizable, but they can be turned into Pokemon Gyms, because the creator can set up battle rules for those who enter.

A new character named Aarune will instruct players on the ways of secret bases, and will also battle with you occasionally. In addition, you can also share your secret base using StreetPass or the QR Code features.

"Four months early and [Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire] already has a better post game than X and Y," wrote Djjalpha on PokeJungle.

Speaking of Pokemon X and Y, and new distribution event has also been announced for the UK.

According to Serebii, GAME stores will allow X and Y players to download a Charizard holding either a Charizardite X or Charizardite Y, depending on your copy of the game to download the Pokemon.

This distribution event will run from July 11 to August 10.
