INFINITE Ranks Second On Japan Oricon Weekly Chart With 'Last Romeo'

INFINITE, like many K-pop groups, is on the rise in Japan.

The idol group's recent single, "Last Romeo," ranked No. 2 on the Oricon Chart in Japan, selling a total of 474, 262 copies.

After making their explosive debut in Japan in 2011, INFINITE held an arena tour a year later and has since topped the Oricon chart with their first official Japanese album, which was released last June. "Last Romeo" also topped the Tower Record Charts in Japan as well.

The group recently revealed an image for the repackaging of their second full-length album "Be Back," on its official website, according to MSN Entertainment XIN.

"Despite their busy schedules of filming the drama 'High School' and preparing for the small theatre concert 'That Summer 2,' the members finished the preparations for the album, including filming the music video. The members have been preparing throughout the day and night, so please anticipate," stated INFINITE's agency, Woolim Entertainment.

The seven-member group has been known within the K-pop world for being adventurous and trying out new styles and concepts in terms of their music and their visuals.

INFINITE became the first idol group to release an instrumental compilation album of their tracks. The album, which was released earlier this year, is titled "The Origin."

"The Origin" includes three CDs in white, black and gold, with each CD consisting of ten tracks for a total of thirty instrumental versions of their past hits, according to Allkpop.

The white CD includes their ballad tracks while the black one is a collection of their "powerful" tracks. The gold CD consists of their signature dance music.

"This is a new challenge for INFINITE, who has reached success and growth through the strength of their music during a period in which the prevalent prejudice is that idol music is something is only enjoyed during that moment and forgotten about later once the fad fades," explained a rep for Woolim Entertainment.
