Oscar Pistorius Murder Case Update: ‘Blade Runner’s’ Drunken Brawl To Affect His Trial For Girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp’s Killing? Bouncers Remove Athlete For Causing Trouble

Oscar Pistorius murder case update doesn't bode well for the paralympian after the "Blade Runner" was involved in a drunken brawl Saturday night. The situation got out of hand so fast that bouncers had to remove the athlete for causing trouble.

The London's Daily Telegraph  reported Oscar Pistorius murder case update when it said that the accused in the killing of model Reeva Steenkamp "drank tequila shots, socialised with a known violent offender and had scantily-clad women sitting on his knee."

He was at the VIP room of a bar in Sandton, Johannesburg prior to the fight with racing driver Jared Mortimer.

While Oscar Pistorius admitted to being in the VIP room, he denied instigating the fight and instead accused Jared Mortimer of badgering him about the trial.

According to UK's TheWeek, the athlete was "drunk and very aggressive" while threatening him that they "owned" South African president Jacob Zuma.

The account was substantiated by another witness who was quoted by the Johannesburg Star that Oscar Pistorius even flashed the middle finger while passing by their group.

Oscar Pistorius now "regrets the decision to go into a public place and thereby inviting unwelcome attention," as relayed by his spokeswoman.

In an interview with the Telegraph, Jared Mortimer said that he was introduced to Oscar Pistorius by a mutual friend. During their conversation, the athlete reportedly "prodded him aggressively" in the chest before being involved in another fight.

Oscar Pistorius' murder trial for the killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp is nearing conclusion as the defense rests its case.

According to the NY Times, Oscar Pistorius' murder case trial for the killing of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp took one step closer to the finish during the 39th day of the hearing. The defense and prosecution will return on August 7-8 so they can make their oral arguments.

The publication said that Judge Thokozile Matilda Masipa will hand down her verdict before the end of next month.
