Duo Akdong Musician Chosen For U.S. Billboard's '21 Under 21' List

Duo Akdong Musician has been chosen for U.S. Billboard's '21 Under 21' list.

On September 25, Billboard revealed a list for the 'Most Popular Under 21 Idol Groups'. For this list, Akdong is listed as the only K-Pop and Asia star.

Billboard stated that they chose artists that showed great potential and surprising results throughout the year of 2014. They praised all the groups on the list and stated that these results would only further their future in this field.

They spotlighted Akdong Musician and praised them highly as their albums were all written and produced by the group themselves.

They also revealed how popular the duo was in Korea, ranking first on charts and having a successful debut.

Alongside Akdong on the list were Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainor and more.

Last year on this list, singer Lee Hi was the only Asia singer on the list as well.
