'One Piece' Chapter 787 Spoilers: Gecko Moriah To Assist Luffy Against Doflamingo? Will He Help The Straw Hat Alliance Against Kaido?

Finally, fans will soon get to see Doflamingo's demise as Dressrosa arc is about to end.

But some unexpected turn of events occurred last chapter when Luffy's gear fourth technique ran out of time. While he is recuperating, the other gladiators decided to cover for him. Will it be Gecko Moriah's turn to show up?

According to Oro Jackson.com, a panel on chapter 728 showed a toy resembling Gecko Moriah.

Now that the curse is broken and all toys have turned back to their original forms, Moriah might have turned back to his old self as well. The last time fans saw the former Warlord was when the government ordered Doflamingo to kill him.

But it was not revealed if he indeed killed Moriah. Perhaps, he got the idea of turning Moriah to a toy servant instead and decided not to tell the government. By the time Doflamingo reported back to the government officer, he said Moriah just went missing and the official still remembers Moriah. If fans can remember, anyone who gets touched by Sugar and gets turned to a toy is forgotten by everyone. Perhaps, Moriah was just being shipped to Dressrosa before he was turned to a toy.
 

With that said, he might intervene and help stop Doflamingo from hunting down Luffy. Also, it would also make perfect sense as Luffy's alliance is aiming at Kaido next, and Moria greatly resents that Yonkou.

Meanwhile, here's the plot summary for "One Piece" chapter 786 via Manga Spoilers.

The crowd celebrates as they believe Luffy has finally defeated Doflamingo. Viola told his father and the others that Luffy might have just defeated Doflamingo. Scene changes to Cavendish and Law as the former commented that Doflamingo should be totally out after that attack. However, Luffy and Law notices that the bird cage is still up. Just when Luffy was about to deliver his last attack, his technique runs out of time and he turns back to his old self, very exhausted.

Jesus Burgess makes his move and he plans to kill Luffy and steal his Rubber Rubber fruit! Also, Doflamingo is back on his feet. The people of Dressrosa panicked once again. But the coliseum announcer, Gatz, came to Luffy's aid and carries him. He finds out Luffy is Lucy, and asks him what he can do to help. Luffy needs 10 minutes to regenerate his haki and promises that he will end all this once he recovers. Gatz agrees and an army of gladiators come to Luffy's aid. They apologize for siding with Doflamingo for the money. In return, they will protect Luffy until he recovers. When Gatz and Luffy tried to escape, Burgess appears out of nowhere ready to stab Luffy. Fortunately, Sabo arrives in the nick of time to deal a massive blow to Burgess that sends him flying.
