Adam Lambert Kills Parody of Queen's 'We Are The Champions' On James Corden's Late Late Show

Adam Lambert slayed his own parody of Queen's "We Are the Champions" to celebrate James Corden's 50th episode of the Late Late Show.

The skit started with the British comedian appearing to be crying as he was beside himself for actually surviving his 50th show on American shores. He said that he doesn't know how to start expressing his gratitude ... and that's when the Queen frontman entered the stage.

"I can help you James," Adam Lambert said to the applause of the audience.

"What are you doing here?"

"Well James it your's 50th show, congratulations. Now, I decided I would prepare something very special for you," the "American Idol" alum said.

Adam Lambert then proceeded to make a parody of Queen's "We are the Champions."

He sang:

"He's paid his dues / Done 50 shows / How he survived it / God only knows / And bad mistakes / He's made a few / Rolling the title cards five minutes in / What a dumb thing to do," he sang. "He is James Corden, my friends / And he'll host Late Late Show till the end!"

"Corden later joined Lambert for a final cut-to-commercial chorus, and while this duet wasn't quite as epic as when Lambert belted the song with Kris Allen (and Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor) on the American Idol Season 8 finale back in 2009, it still made for some awesome TV," Yahoo managing editor Lyndsey Parker wrote. "And the fact that comic champion Reggie Watts, who leads the Late Late Show house band, joined in made this even more celebratory."

James Corden also took to Twitter to express his admiration for Queen's current frontman Adam Lambert killing a parody of "We are the Champions." He wrote, "Ok, so @adamlambert managed to make a jokey parody AWESOME!!!! https://youtu.be/JTv7CWmrezA ."

Queen frontman Adam Lambert later returned to The Late Late Show stage singing his latest track "Ghost Town."
