Rob Kardashian Pleads Not Guilty In Paparazzi Scandal

Rob Kardashian said he’s not guilty in the paparazzi scuffle that he was accused of. The reality TV star pleaded his innocence at his first day of court Wednesday.

After the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was charged with two misdemeanors – one count for battery and one for petty theft stemming from his March run-in with a paparazzo outside a Beverley Hills gym – the reality tv star appeared in court this morning with his lawyer, Robert Shapiro. He plead not guilty to the misdemeanor counts, according to sources.

Judge Marsha Revel permitted Kardashian to remain free on his own recognizance over the prosecutor’s objections and the DA also asked that the bail be set at $21,000 for the E! television star.

Paparazzo Kassandra Perez, real name Andra Viak, field a civil lawsuit against the Rob Kardashian last month, accusing him of assault, battery, theft and inflicting emotional distresses and alleging that Kardashian struck Perez and took her camera card while she was snapping pics of the star.

Kardashian’s next court date is scheduled for the end of May in Beverley Hills for pretrial.

Rob Kardasian is part of the famous Kardashian family who became a television break out star when the series Keep Up With The Kardashians aired on E. Rob is the brother of his famous sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney.
