As more controversies continue to surround BLACKPINK Jennie, BLACKPINK fandom, BLINKs, sent protest trucks in front of YG Entertainment to demand for idol's protection against negative rumors and haters.
On March 4, Korean media outlet Star Today, reported that another truck protest vehicle appeared in front of YG Entertainment's Hapjeong-dong office building.
This is in relation to Jennie, a member of BLACKPINK, who has recently been rumored to be dating G-Dragon since then has been receiving malicious comments. Thus, this the fandom to demand its agency to protect the female star's privacy and safety.
Protest Trucks Asking for Jennie's Protections Arrived In Front Of YG Entertainment Building
According to a YouTube channel released on March 3, some fans of Jennie sent a truck in front of YG's office to strongly urge the artist to protect his privacy.
It was even explained in the video that even before debuting, Jennie had been suffering from groundless malicious rumors and attacks in which damages her safety. “Please do not shift the burden to the artist by consistently responding vaguely," said the video.
As the video continued demanding to protect Jennie’s safety, they added, "In any situation, please file a complaint against those who hired professional hackers to hack Jennie's Instagram photo account, and against those who leaked Jennie's home address."
This is not the first time that BLINKs, the fandom of BLACKPINK sent protest trucks to YGE. In 2019, an electronic display truck, which calls for BLACKPINK's comeback and broadcasting activities, traveled around YG's office building and drew attention after having these protest trucks that are made for Jennie.
Meanwhile, the recently sent protest trucks were in line with the negative feedbacks Jennie has been receiving as earlier on February 24, the entertainment media Dispatch reported that BLACKPINK Jennie and BIGBANG G-Dragon were dating.
The said report added that the two artists from YG have been meeting in secret, and they often had their dates at home. It is already the third month of 2021, and Dispatch has revealed another couple after reporting that the hit Korean drama, Crash Landing on You’s main leads, Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin, were dating.

More Details about the Protest Trucks Sent in YG Entertainment
On related news, "Jensetters Union" a group of BLACKPINK Jennie‘s fans has been campaigning for the protection of Jennie. They had sent protest LED trucks to the YG Entertainment building to make their wishes known.The said trucks have been present at the building for two days up to this date.
Furthering that, fans request the company to take legal action against Jennie’s Instagram hacker as well as the netizens who leaked her personal information online.
Initially, due to these reports going around social media, YG Entertainment released its official statement about the issue. They said, "It is difficult for the company to confirm the artist's personal private life," and said, "We ask for the fans’ understanding." And with this, YG Entertainment has yet to respond to the protest and fans’ requests.
On the other hand, G-Dragon, who was discharged from the military in October 2019, is working on a new album and will make a solo comeback. Alongside this, YG Entertainment is currently promoting Rosé’s solo debut.
