On Aug. 19, My Daily released an exclusive report stating that according to multiple industry officials, Kim Junsu and Kei, who are both under PALMTREE ISLAND, are currently dating.

The media outlet added that the two support each other's activities, and are slowly growing their love for each other.

My Daily also mentioned that the age difference between Kim Junsu and former Lovelyz Kei is eight years, with the male idol having been born in December 1986 and the female actress in March 1995.

Following the dating news, PALMTREE ISLAND released an official statement through Newsen. The agency said, "The dating rumors revolving around Junsu and Kei are not true and are groundless."

Former Lovelyz member Kei signed an exclusive contract with PALMTREE ISLAND this past January as a musical actress, and she has since been starring in multiple musicals, including "Excalibur-Seoul Encore" and "Death Note."

Kim Junsu has also been active as a musical actor lately, and will play the role of "Death" in the upcoming musical "Elizabeth."

PALMTREE ISLAND is an entertainment management company founded by Junsu and houses musical actors and actresses, including Kim So Hyun, Jeong Sun Ah, Jin Tae Hwa, and Yang Seo Yoon (in addition to Junsu and Kei).

Meanwhile PALMTREE ISLAND is set to hold its first gala concert in September. The event will take place on Sept. 23, 24 and 25 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, South Korea. It will feature the label's musical artists.

Kim Junsu's Recent Comebacks

In the past few months, Kim Junsu was also active in the K-pop scene. He made a solo comeback on March 16 with his new mini-album "DIMENSION."

"DIMENSION" features the title song "HANA" and its instrumental version, plus three other tracks. "HANA" contains a message to the fans who have always shown support to him. Kim Junsu co-wrote the lyrics together with CHKmate.

In April, Kim Junsu dropped a duet with his fellow JYJ member Kim Jaejoong. Titled "Sixth Magnitude Star," the song serves as the original soundtrack of the Japanese NTV drama "Waru ~Who Said That Working Isn't Cool?~," which premiered on April 13.

"Sixth Magnitude Star" is a ballad song with the title pertaining to the darkest stars humans can see with the naked eye.

Following the drama OST's release, JYJ appeared on Japan's music program "Premium Music 2022" and performed "Sixth Magnitude Star" live for the first time.

"Sixth Magnitude" ranked first on the Oricon Single Distribution Chart with 4,390 downloads on April 13. The song also debuted at No. 8 on the Oricon Digital Singles Track Chart on April 25 with 6,514 downloads.
