On Dec. 16, NCT Dream released their winter special mini-album "Candy," which features the title track of the same name. It was accompanied by the music video for the song.
A remake of H.O.T's 1996 hit song, "Candy" is reinterpreted with a hip and refreshing arrangement displaying NCT Dream's own color added to the original track's bright melody.

In related news, NCT Dream's "Candy" is also charting well on MelOn, the largest music streaming platform in South Korea.
On Dec. 17, "Candy" soared to the top of MelOn's Top 100 chart, becoming the only third boy group song to hit No. 1 on the tally this year. (The only other boy group songs to achieve this feat in 2022 are BIGBANG's "Still Life" and BTS's "Yet to Come.")
On Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. KST, the remake song stayed at No. 1 on not only MelOn's Top 100, but also Bugs' and VIBE's real-time charts, where it placed first for the past three days.
On the same day, "Candy" occupied No. 9 on MelOn's 24Hits chart (which ranks songs based on streams and unique listeners from the past 24 hours), making NCT Dream only the third boy group in history - following BTS and BIGBANG - to enter the top 10.
Congratulations to NCT Dream on their historic feat on MelOn!
