SM's Lee Soo Man Met Hillary Clinton at Special Screening in D.C.

SM Entertainment producer Lee Soo Man attended a special screening in Washington D.C. on April 9 receiving an official invitation to the event hosted by Hillary Clinton, U.S. Secretary of State.

The event was a special screening of the film ‘The Lady’ based on the story of political activist Aung San Suu Kyi at April 9 at Washington MPAA headquarter (Motional Picture Association of America).

Individuals invited to the event included big names in U.S. political, culture, and sports circle including the director of the flim Luc Besson, Michelle Yeoh the actress that starred in the film, diplomat Kurt Campbell, and former U.S. ice skater Michelle Kwan.

Lee Soo Man was invited to the event by fulfilling a personal request by Michelle Yeoh to help Hillary Clinton obtain a copy of ‘The Lady’ as she stopped by Korea before heading over to Myanmar to meet with Aung San Suu Kyi in November of 2011.

It was reported that Lee Soo Man was able to deliver the DVD copy of the film ten minutes before Hillary Clinton boarded her plane.
Based on this relationship Lee Soo Man was invited by Hillary Clinton to attend the screening in Washington.
