Dancing With The Stars Maksim Chmerkovskiy says being called Jennifer Lopez's boyfriend was "unbearable." 

Maksim Chmerkovski is no stranger to romance rumors hitting the headline. Maks was engaged to reality TV star Karina Smirnoff and dated Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Kate Upton.

Hot on the heels of rumors that Mak and Meryl Davis were dating, rumors linking Jennifer Lopez and Maksim Chmerkovskiy shot through him.Maks told the celebrity site Confidenti@l "I now understand why Hollywood is such a difficult place to have a good relationship in: because there's all these interferences. Two people have to be so strong - and notice I didn't say 'in love.' They have to be in love, but trust me, there've been situations when two people have been really in love, and all of this gets in the way and it completely ruins it."

Weeks ago, Maks complained to Access Hollywood about the dating rumors "I just flew in literally, and I read about this. Those are big names, I'm flattered... I just don't think that's anybody's business."

The former King of Queens star insists Lopez and Chmerkovskiy are not in the running the most attractive new celebrity couple along with Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello.

On her new reality show, Leah Remini: It's All Relative,, Remini said her friend Jennifer Lopez and DWTS dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy are "not an item." 

People magazine reported that Jennifer Lopez, 44, met "DWTS" dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 34, through Leah Remini when she was dancing on "DWTS" with Tony Dovolani.

Sources told Us Weekly the "DWTS" pro and the former "American Idol" judge having a blast at Shrine Nightclub after J-Lo performed a show at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut Saturday.

When pressed, Maksim answered "What would you like me to say? I'm not dating J.Lo, Meryl and Kate. Maybe I'm dating all three, who knows. I love Meryl. We're friends and we'll always be," he told Access, explain his personal life "won't be anybody's business."

Chmerkovskiy and Lopez met in November 2013, when they performed together at the American Music Awards. Lopez, whose break-up with dancer Casper Smart was revealed on June 6, had earlier denied that she was dating anyone.J.Lo and Maks shared a dance during Lopez's  tribute to Celia Cruz. At the time Lopez was still going out with her former backup dancer Smart. Maks was dating model Kate Upton. Maks and Kate broke up weeks later. Kate Upton and Maksim Chmerkovskiy split after six months together.
