SISTAR Dasom Cast In Shin Yeon Shik's Film 'Like A French Movie'

Director Shin Yeon Shik has cast SISTAR’s Dasom in his upcoming project. Dasom will make her film debut opposite actor Ryu Deok Hwan, in “Like a French Movie.” “Like a French Movie” is a four-part film which will feature Dasom in the first two episodes.

Dasom entered acting with a supporting role in the 2012 K-Drama “Shut up Family.” She recently wrapped up the KBS1 weekend drama “Melody of Love,” in which she held the starring role of Gong Deul Im.

Dasom will portray the love interest of Ryu Deok Hwan, in the first installment of “Like a French Movie.” The role is described as a sweet, beer bar employee. The second installment of the omnibus will pair Dasom with Jeong Man Sik.

Director Shin Yeon Shik is also a film educator in Korea, who has an on-going project in which he takes on new talent to launch into film. He is responsible for increased interest in the acting career of MBLAQ member Lee Joon. Shin Yeon Shik directed Lee Joon in the controversial 2013 film “Rough Play.”

Dasom is currently promoting with SISTAR, who recently released the extended play album “Touch & Move” which features the catchy track “Touch My Body.”
