Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus 'Come Get It Bae' Video Premiere: Dancing Models Are Back But With Positive Message About Beauty

"Beauty has no expiration date" is the central message behind Pharrell Williams' latest music video featuring Miley Cyrus, which premiered today and already has people bouncing in their office chairs. Those positive yet ambiguous words appear across the screen in the first seconds of "Come Get It Bae," which then turns into a funky dance party with dancing women of different colors, shapes, and sizes.

Models and dancers - those are two things that Mr. Pharrell Williams doesn't shy away from admitting he likes. From his album cover, to his features in music videos such as "Blurred Lines," Pharrell insists on being surrounded by beautiful ladies of diverse ethnicities. But according to Vulture, "Despite the song's persistence, Pharrell is moving steadily away from a "Blurred Lines" past and toward a future that looks more like a Dove commercial. In a good way...the idea here is that Pharrell wants to you to know that he loves women in a positive way."

Throughout the music video, Pharrell is seen filming, interacting, and dancing with a variety of women who perform a choreographed routine that matches the funkiness of the song. Midway through the clip, Miley Cyrus appears donning cut-offs and a topknot and joins the hitmaker in some goofy fun. Though a much tamer video than we've seen recently from both artists, the visual fit well with the song - and the absence of any scandalous or shocking elements certainly brings a sigh of relief to those tired of Miley's twerking and the pervasive raunchiness that often comes with modern pop and hip-hop visuals. As the New York Post eloquently noted, "The most shocking thing about Miley Cyrus' latest music video appearance is that there's nothing shocking about it." Instead, the artists and the dancers have fun while simultaneously sharing an uplifting message that is sure to resonate with fans globally.

After tweeting the video to his 3.97 million followers, he threw in a shout out to his collaborator and friend, Miley Cyrus. "Thank you to my lil sis @MileyCyrus. All we know how to do is be silly and have fun. #ComeGetItBae," tweeted the 'Happy' hitmaker.

The two singers have undeniable chemistry, as the two certainly get down and have fun in the new release. This is not the first collaboration for the princess of twerk and the prince of funk, Pharrell produced both "4X4" (featuring Nelly), "#GetItRight," "Rooting for My Baby," and "On My Own" on Miley's latest album Bangerz. Though none of the Pharrell-produced singles from Bangerz received an official release, there's a good chance we may see them resurface if 'Come Get It Bae' catches on and climbs to the top of the charts.
