Since news borke a couple weeks ago of singer Park Bom's past drug allegations, the 2NE1 member pulled out of filming additional episodes of the popular celebrity reality show 'Roommate.' 

The CP and PD for the program have confirmed that this week's episode of the show will be the last one for Park Bom.

On July 5th, Park Bom explained her reasons why she is no longer participating the filming for the show and her feelings regarding the drug scandal incident. Park Bom said, "I am very sorry to all for having a great controversy because of me". She further explained, "Because I feel terrible, I don't have the confidence to film for 'Roommate.'"

The CP for the show, Baek Jung Ryul, told Korean news media outlet TV Report on July 24th, "It seems the upcoming July 27th broadcast will be Park Bom's final [appearance on 'Roommate']. She hasn't been attending filming so there is no footage of her. Realistically speaking, it is as if she's left [the show]... We haven't made any plans for Park Bom's possible following appearances. Nothing has been discussed... We also edited out a lot of the footage of Park Bom due to the controversy."

Though, Park Sang Hyuk, the producer (PD) for 'Roommate,' is shining some light on the matter for 2NE1 fans who are disappointed. He told news media MBN, "It's true Bom hasn't been participating in the filming since the 11th. Due to this, she won't be in the broadcasts starting next week. She couldn't film because of schedules, so we can't ultimately label this as her leaving... We have footage that has been recorded before, so Bom will be appearing in a portion of this week's episode."

Though the CP and PD have revealed that this week's episode is the last for Park Bom, it is not yet clear if this is indefinite or just a temporary hiatus and that she will return once the scandal has completely died down.

However, one official from the production team was quoted in The Korean Herald saying, "Unless Park Bom expresses her intention to make an appearance in ‘Roommate,’ I think her long absence from filming can be interpreted as a permanent exit from the show".
