Android 4.5 Lollipop Release Date: New Camera 2 API To Be Included In Specs And Features; Revamped Notification Interface; Sneak Peak Here

Android 4.5 Lollipop Release Date is expected to come out this fall after fans failed to get a hands on experience of the latest Google OS during the recently held Google I/O event last June.

With Android 4.4 KitKat introduced September 2013, experts speculate that the upcoming Lollipop would also be announced this fall.

Though it still unclear to developers, they are still venturing if the new OS would be a 4.5 or a 5.0 for Android. Some developers, meanwhile, said that the new operating system will most likely be called "Lollipop".

The new OS, which is more popularly called "Android L", was revealed to developers and the new specs and features of the so-called "Lollipop" are here.

Design

A new "material design" is expected as the Lollipop will be carrying a new look for users to enjoy, which is said to "bring out the life of the device" by making the animation of the interface very clear with full attention to details.

Camera

A new Camera 2 API will be introduced with the Android 4.5 Lollipop that will enhance the capability of the gadget's camera to make it responsive and fast without sacrificing the quality of the photos because of its enhancements that would give out the full resolution of the picture or video.

A burst mode and HDR feature will aslo be added.

Notifications

A new heads up notification interface interacted with the lock screen is now available for the Android Lollipop.

In the lock screen, all important apps will be presented and can be accessed with just one gesture on your device.

For the notifications, a revised and more easy to manage notification bar on top of the screen will be made available. You can now continue playing games on your phone even when there is someone trying to call you. While on different apps, a notification menu will drop down and will give you options and actions that you would want to do.

The Android 4.5 Lollipop release date is expected to be used by phone companies such as HTC, Sony, Samsung and Motorola, among others.
