Alec Baldwin has finally joined the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge craze. The "30 Rock" actor braved a freezing water soaking and posted a video on Instagram of his whole family getting in on the action.

"Doing something good for charity and getting to throw ice water on @iamabfalecbaldwin & @greggbello's heads?? Doesn't get better than this!!! #ALSIceBucketChallenge," Baldwin's wife Hilaria wrote on Twitter.

Mrs. Baldwin posted a video of her dumping a bucket of ice water on the heads of her husband and friend Gregg Bello.

Bello, best known for roles in films like "Noah" and "The Wrestler," in turn nominated Darren Aronofsky, while Baldwin challenged his 84-year-old mother to complete the task.

But the charitable fun didn't stop there.

Hilaria decided to take the challenge for charity as well. The yoga-instructor propped herself into a headstand as her famous husband held a baby pool filled with water over her.

The couple's 1-year-old daughter Carmen watched, along with the family dog, as Alec Baldwin doused his inverted wife, who donned a brightly colored bikini for the video.

The viral campaign for ALS Association has raised $94 million so far, drawing mass support from celebrities and ordinary people alike.

"It's amazing. It's perhaps a little overwhelming," Barbara Newhouse, the ALS Associations President and CEO recently told NPR in an interview about the popular fundraising movement.

Newhouse opened up to NPR about the new challenge of handling all of the raised funds in the most effective manner.

"It's sort of like the lottery winner that receives a lot of money and four years later is looking in the mirror saying, 'What did I do with all that money? Where did it go?' " she told the publication. "We don't want to be that kind of lottery winner. We want to take this money and very thoughtfully plan out exactly what we're going to do with it."

With the funds raised for ALS over the past month dwarfing last year's $2.7 million in donations, the Ice Bucket Challenge trend has yet to slow down.
