Andy Murray Dethrones Novak Djokovic As US Open 2014 Court Jester: Girlfriend Kim Sears Jumps For Joy, Faces World Number 1 At Quarterfinals

Andy Murray may have just dethroned Novak Djokovic as the US Open 2014 court jester. The world number 1 did his fair share of clowning around, but Andy Murray’s harmonica skills certainly trumps Novak Djokovic’s bad dancing. Even the Scotsman’s girlfriend Kim Sears seemed more cheered at his matches.

Watch Andy Murray whip out his harmonica to entertain the journalists at a US Open 2014 press conference:

Now we are talking! That’s some real skill there, Andy. Not like Novak Djokovic’s crowd-pleasing, but utterly clumsy body shaking.

But who will one up the other guy at this year’s US Open quarterfinals? Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic will face each other as they eye the passage to semifinals.

Kim Sears for one amped up her cheering. Though she has sported glum-faced look through the first few rounds of US Open 2014, Andy’s girlfriend of eight years brought out all the smiles and cheering during the Jo-Wilfred Tsonga game.

Daily Mail reports that Kim was “jumping out of her seat” and “could barely contain herself” as she saw Andy Murray securing his path to the US Open quarterfinals.

She wore a casual tee-shirt and jeans to the 4th round match, but accessorized with £1,600 Mulberry tote. But the most important accessory of them all was her smile and fist pumps.

Let’s see if the new court jester will beat the world number 1 in the quarter final match of the US Open 2014!
