5 Seconds Of Summer Luke Hemmings No Longer Bandleader? Calum Hood Kicks Off Blink 182 ‘I Miss You’ Cover Before 5SOS iTunes Festival [VIDEO]

Luke Hemmings may be getting edged out of 5 Seconds of Summer. The lead singer used to be the one all the fans were in love with, but recently, he has fallen out of the radar. With the bassist Calum Hood kicking off the 5SOS cover of Blink 182’s ‘I Miss You’ before tonight’s iTunes Festival and with Ashton Irwin using more creative media to reach the 5SOS fans on Twitter, Luke Hemmings may need to relinquish his bandleader position.

After 5 Seconds of Summer’s cover of ‘I Miss You’ by Blink 182, Luke Hemmings posted a rather negative tweet about how tired he was.

Check out 5 Seconds of Summer do a rendition of Blink 182’s ‘I Miss You’ on BBC Radio: Yes, considering how most radio shows are recorded in the morning, a “nap” is in order, but the 5SOS lead singer has been posting more and more negative things on Twitter. Is he is too tired to helm the ship?

According to On Air with Ryan Seacrest interview, Luke Hemmings isn’t doing much outside of 5 Seconds of Summer recently. Instead of engaging his fans on Twitter, he stalks them.

"Type in your band name on Twitter and then just scroll...there's not much to it really!"

Recently, the most interesting 5 Seconds of Summer Twitter posts was posted by the drummer Ashton Irwin. He has given 5SOS updates via Keek, a video uploading platform for Twitter, and keeps the mood light and optimistic.

Maybe Ashton will step up his game at this year’s iTunes Festival!

But he stated that he wants to get back into acting. How will 5 Seconds of Summer stay afloat without Ashton Irwin if Luke Hemmings takes a backseat?

We’ll see how 5SOS does at this year’s iTunes Festival!
