Eminem's 'Rap God' Breaks Guinness World Record; Has 'Most Words in a Hit Record' With Roughly 4 Words Per Second [PHOTO]

Marshal Mathers, better known as Eminem, has made history. The 42-year-old Detroit rapper is rarely seen in the media or in the tabloids, but recently made a splash when his song "Rap God" broke the record for fitting the most words into a hit song. "Rap God" is a 2013 release, and fits approximately 1,560 words into six minutes.

The rapper already has a long list of achievements; Liberty Voice reports that Eminem has been the all time best-selling rapper in the 2000's with over 115 million albums and singles sold in the US and over 40 million worldwide. The Rolling Stone Magazine has also given him the title of "The King of Hip Hop."

The Guardian reports that "Rap God" comes from Eminem's eighth album, "The Marshall Mathers LP2." It features a verse about the Columbine High School Massacre, but the verse was censored in the original release. One section of the song features 97 words in 15 seconds, which comes down to an average of 6.5 words per second. However,  the overall song tallies an average of 4.28 words per second.

Eminem isn't the only singer to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records. According to The Guardian, Metallica became the only band to have performed on all seven of the world's continents; Katy Perry is the musician known to have the most Twitter followers; One Direction became the first band to debut at #1 in the US with their first three albums; Miley Cyrus became the most searched for pop star on the internet; and Shakira became the most "liked" person on Facebook.

Eminem is still definitely a force to be reckoned with in the rap world. He will be recorded in the 60th anniversary edition of the "Guinness World Records 2015" book, which is out today.
