As "Roommate" season one comes to an end, another cast member will be leaving as the series prepares a new cast line-up.

On September 10, reports confirmed actress Hong Soo Hyun's exit from "Roommate" alongside 2NE1's Park Bom, Lee So Ra, Song Ga Yeon and Shin Sung Woo. At the same time, allkpop reports that Girls' Generation's Sunny will be joining the SBS series for season two.

"Sunny will begin filming SBS' 'Roommate' season two as a new member this week," said a broadcast insider for the series. "She is normally a bright and innocent character and is set to not hold back in showing what she's like. She is also very honest so you'll be able to see daring sides of her."

"We are currently thinking of adding a total of six new members, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Sunny and five others are in talks."

Later on, it was confirmed that g.o.d.'s Park Joon Hyung and boy group GOT7's Jackson have been recruited for "Roommate" season two.

"I quit watching after Park Bom left," commented haseungjae on allkpop. "Now season two they're going to have Sunny? And Jackson, who I heard is super funny. I'm so gonna watch!"

Of the original 11 members of "Roommate," Lee Dong Wook, Jo Se Ho, Park Min Woo, Nana, Park Chanyeol and Seo Kang Joon remain.

On September 1, Shin Sung Woo confirmed his exit due to the number of the original cast leaving "Roommate."

"I will be leaving the 'Roommate' family," tweeted the 46-year-old on Twitter. "The reason I became a roommate was because I wanted to get closer to my younger juniors and the public, and to fill an empty place in my heart."

However, "Roommate" season two will reportedly begin filming on September 13, with a brand new episode to air on September 21. So stay tuned!
