B.A.P Turns On Their Hypnotizing Charm At MTV Sessions In Singapore

Six-member Korean boy group B.A.P performed an exclusive showcase at MTV Sessions on Thursday, September 11 at Resort World Sentosa's Waterfront Studio in Singapore.

MTV Sessions is a series of music shows that enable music lovers to watch international and regional artists perform and share their music and personal stories in an intimate setting. B.A.P is the first K-Pop group to be featured on MTV Sessions.

Known for their strong, charismatic image, B.A.P powered through their setlist of 5 hit songs which consisted of "Excuse Me," "Hurricane," "Lovesick," "Where Are You?" and "1004 (Angel)." Fervent screams erupted from the audience at the mere mention of B.A.P's name by the MTV VJs Alan and Hanli even before the group even went onstage.

Members Bang Yong Guk, Him Chan, Dae Hyun, Young Jae, Jong Up and Zelo kick-started the show with the energetic song "Excuse Me" and continued to heat up the stage with "Hurricane." The 300 fans present responded euphorically to B.A.P's performances, waved their fanboards and green Matoki light sticks and sang along to all their songs.

During the Q&A session, MTV VJs Alan and Hanli asked some questions sent in by fans.

When asked to name the quietest member in B.A.P, all the members pointed simultaneously to leader Bang Yong Guk, who quietly acknowledged that fact.  As for the member who takes the longest time to shower, there were votes for both Jong Up and Yong Guk, Jong Up chose not to answer and simply replied, "I give up!" They also shared their upcoming plans of releasing a Japanese album in November and will be active in Japan.

On their thoughts about being in Singapore, all the B.A.P members proudly declared "I love you Chilli Crab!" They started chanting "Chilli Crab, Chilli Crab..." and did their own Chilli Crab dance. Him Chan professed, "I like Laksa!" (a flavorful, spicy noodle soup dish). Fans started chanting "Laksa, Laksa, Laksa!" much to the amusement of B.A.P.

The superb energy level that flowed throughout the evening was unexplainable by words. B.A.P ended the recording session on a high note with "1004 (Angel)", the title track from their First Sensibility album.

Before they left the stage, Him Chan expressed his appreciation, "I feel really honoured to be performing onstage as a K-Pop artist. I enjoyed the show and we love you." Yong Guk added, "It's a great show with you guys and we will be back soon."

B.A.P had definitely made the showcase a perfect and enjoyable one and the memory will surely be kept dearly in their fans' memory boxes for a long time.
