Since MTV's "Faking It" season 2 has been slated, many theories and confirmations about what it will cover has come out.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the major thing fans should await in "Faking It" season 2 is the part of the story that tries to explain what it is like to born intersex.

Intersex is a condition wherein a person is born with both male and female chromosomes but develop as female.

In the first season's finale, it was reported that a question was imposed about Lauren (Bailey De Young) taking pills regularly and Hollywood Reporter reveals that the backstory to it will be told in the second season. The pills are reportedly for Lauren's Androgen Insensitive Syndrome.

De Young discusses the revelation in her character with Entertainment Weekly, saying: "When [executive producer Carter Covington] told me, it just clicked into place why she is more closed off, why she refuses to be vulnerable. She's just got this secret that she unfortunately finds shameful. I was really excited and honored to play someone with that type of condition because it's not super common on TV."

Another thing to expect in "Faking It" season 2 is "much sexy time for Shane."

The show's producer mentions the progress in the story in relation to Shane's character in an interview with Buzzfeed. "I think Pablo raised issues for [Shane] of, 'Am I a good person? Am I a bad person? Is he a dependable friend? Is he not?'" Covington says. "What we're really gonna dig into is what are his weaknesses, and what are the things that make him insecure or uneasy? Because he does come off so well adjusted and confident. You'll see some cracks in his overall persona."

In the releasead "Faking It" season 2 trailer, suggests a revelation from Liam and Amy. It also poses questions about Karma and Amy's friendship and how it will be affected when Amy reveals that she slept with Liam.

"Faking It" season 2 premieres on September 23.
