After 23 years of marriage, Bruce and Kris Jenner are parting ways.

According to a report by CNN on the Kris Jenner divorce, she, cited "irreconcilable differences" as the main reason for their split. The Kardashian mom filed a petition for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court on September 22, 2014.

In a joint statement in 2013, the two shared the news that they were separating, "We will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our No. 1 priority."

Bruce, 64 years old, said in October 2013 that they may be happier living on their own and that news of their separation does not equate to a Kris Jenner divorce. The two continued to appear on the family's reality show on E!, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" after they lived separately.

Kris Jenner, 58 years old, also offered to have joint custody over their lone minor child, Kylie, who is 17 years old. Since their legal separation on June 1, 2013, Kris intended to keep all her income, according to a court document. The petition indicated that she rejects any spousal support that Bruce might ask from her. Her former Olympian husband is expected to file a response soon.

In a report by TMZ.com, the divorce was already a deal. Kris filed pro per, which means without a lawyer. She prepared all the Kris Jenner divorce documents on her own to be featured on their reality TV show.

Bruce Jenner is best known for winning the gold medal for decathlon at the 1976 Olympics in Canada. Kris Jenner was previously married to the late Robert Kardashian, O.J. Simpson's lawyer. Kris had four kids with Robert - Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob and two more with Bruce - Kendall and Kylie. There
