Sarah Jessica Parker brought smiles to the faces of "Sex and the City" fans on Tuesday when she made a special pit stop while on a stroll through New York City.  

The actress and fashion star dropped by the front stoop of Carrie Bradshaw, the character that she brought to life on HBO, and took an Instagram photo of herself leaving a few fashionable goodies for fans to admire. Naturally, they were shoes. 

"It was take your @sjpcollection shoes to work day. #longdayforCarrie #whewwwwthosesteps #runninginheels #taxi!" Parker captioned the pic.

Parker sprinkled the steps leading up to the West Village brownstone with a colorful array of "Carrie" T-Strap pumps.

The shoes, which are inspired by Parker's iconic "Sex and the City" character, are part of a collection that the actress launched in February in collaboration with Manolo Blahnik CEO George Malkemus III. The line is exclusively available at Nordstrom.

"There's decades and decades and decades of incredible imagery that you probably have in your head that's meaningful to you. It just so happens that George and I shared the same period of interest," Parker explained in a statement to E! News. "I wanted to go back in time to the simple shoe, which is really hard to do well. That was really our point of inspiration."  

As for Carrie Bradshaw, rumors have recently been swirling that another sequel to the "Sex and the City" film may be in the works. Could Parker and her co-stars be slipping back into the shoes of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha sometime soon?

"A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell," Parker told InStyle. "But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn't a decision that can wait forever. I don't want to have to wear muumuus!"
