Disney's Ice Show To Feature 'Frozen,' Frozen Inspired Wedding Gown Unveiled

The blockbuster movie 'Frozen' will be featured on ice, another reason for fans to see their favorite characters -this time through an ice show.

Fox News reported that Disney On Ice is presenting Frozen around the country and will be directed Patty Vincent who has 10 successful Disney ice shows under her cap.

"I thought this is something special and it wasn't just another Disney film or animated film. It was so special and emotional. I think it touches people in so many different ways. It's an incredible movie with so much to offer for everybody," Vincent was quoted by Fox News as saying.

She added that it "was a great stage for us. The music moves the skaters...the lyrics really helped us create some really wonderful skating moments and the ice itself serves as a great stage."

Elsa and Anna will actually be joined by other favorite Disney characters such as Mickey and Minnie.

 In a related news, the Frozen wedding has also been unveiled, according to Daily News.

The Frozen-inspired wedding gown debuted during the Bridal Fashion Week, a creation of Jason Gillen of Alfredo Angelo.

Gillen's creation features an icy-blue, covered with crystal, an inspiration from Frozen's Queen Elsa.

The gown is said to be about $1,399 a piece.

Meanwhile by 2016, Disney will be replacing the Norwegian-theme Epcot ride with Frozen princesses. Maelstrom will be closed this month to pave the way for the ride that will be inspired by the blockbuster Frozen movie.

The Frozen -themed ride is expected to appeal to a younger fan baseline.

The 2013 animal film by Disney was both a critical and commercial success, earning $1.2 Billion worldwide.

It also won awards as the Best Animated Feature and Original Song and with its song "Let It Go" had a very successful following.
