Maria Sharapova fueled engagement rumors by posting a picture of a beautiful ring on her Instagram. Is the Russian tennis player ready to tie the knot with her boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov? Maybe she wanted to put rumors about her parting ways with her Bulgarian boyfriend to rest. Either way, she is feeling so stable that she even rose to defend her rival Serena Williams from a “racist [and] sexist” comment.
The 27-year-old Roland Garros champion posted a picture of her alleged engagement ring on her official Instagram account. While the ring on her middle finger seems like a showy piece of jewelry, the one on her ring finger definitely looks like it could be a sign of engagement!

"I thought they were very insensitive and extremely sexist as well as racist at the same time,” Serena Williams said in a press conference. “I thought they were, in a way, bullying."
"I think they were very disrespectful and uncalled for, and I'm glad that many people have stood up, including the WTA," Maria Sharapova said according to Sports Illustrated. "It was very inappropriate, especially in his position and all the responsibilities that he has not just in sport, but being part of the Olympic committee. It was just really irresponsible on his side."
The rivalry between Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams outdate their common interested in Grigor Dimitrov. Most recently, they have been fighting for the world number 1 ranking.
