The new idol group UNIQ is a bit special. They have two Korean and three Chinese members, and some of them used to play professional sports.

UNIQ held their debut stage last week, taking their first step to success. Their debut single "Falling In Love" released on October 20 is a pop song that shows UNIQ's true color.

They said, "It hadn't hit us yet but we were so nervous. We were worried that we would make mistakes. But we wanted to do our best and show our talents."

UNIQ's name came from UNIQUE and UNICORN put together, with the meaning of wanting to become a unique figure in the country. They went through 3 years and 9 months of intense training before their debut.

What they want to do through their debut album is to get themselves known.

As they went through a long period of training, many are curious how they will rise to popularity.

They said, "Our goal is to be the Rookie of the Year. We tried hard so we have to show our best. We want to get ourselves known this year."
