SPICA Talk Fashion And Music On ISAtv's 'East Meets Morgan'

K-Pop girl group SPICA continues to gain popularity in the US.

SPICA released their first English song "I Did It" this past summer on August 7. The song was produced under Asa Music and B2M Entertainment and was their segue into the American Music Industry. Their song enlisted in the help of Oliver Goldstein, Cory Enemy and Daniel Merlot, who have all also worked with popular artists such as Britney Spears, Shakira, and Ellie Goulding.

Due to their entrance into the American music scene, ISAtv's show East Meets Morgan met up with the girl group and host Morgan Lynzi interviewed the group regarding their fashion and their US song.

East Meets Morgan is a show that began this year on September 3 with its first guest star Taeyang from Big Bang. The host Morgan Lynzi talks each week about how Asian Pop (Korean, Japanese, and beyond) influences and receives inspirations from America's fashion, music, etc.

This past Wednesday, October 22, the fourth episode was released starring SPICA.

The interview began with Morgan meeting the girls and asking them a question regarding their inspiration for their song, "I Did It." They replied back stating that it was a song inspired and for strong, independent women who have freedom.

She went on to ask them who their favorite powerful female artists were, which they replied through the answers of, "Beyonce and Pink."

They portrayed a free and cheerful atmosphere as they would high-five Morgan and smile excitingly throughout the whole video. Then Morgan asked about the genre of music they used and they answered with, "hip-hop, R&B," while also stating that they use a lot of different genres for their music.

They soon moved on to looking through clothing that can be worn at clubs, discussing not only music but fashion. Morgan specifically asked what Korean trends, people in America could look out for and Spica eagerly replied back explaining how the fashion trends are similar especially the crop top and high waisted bottoms.

Wittily, Morgan asked in Korean, what type of guys they were interested in and they all shouted, "Johnny Depp and guys with a model-esque style." Lastly, the episode ends with Spica's debut concert in Los Angeles.

Next week, the episode will feature hip-hop artists TROY's Bumkey and Kanto.
