Another Saturday has come and with it an all new episode of "Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works" aired in Japan. The episode was also simulcast via Crunchyroll and Hulu, but for those without subscription services need look no further for places to watch the new episode for free online.

"Saber tells Shirou all about Heroic Spirits and Noble Phantasms. She explains why she doesn't want to reveal her true identity to him. Shirou wants Saber to stay at his place for a while. Will Fujimura approve this request?"

Anime News Network's Gabriella Elkens also reviewed the episode and gave a B+. She summarized her critique as follows:

"Otherwise, this episode was bound to be a step down from the last four. It's a lull before the storm, consisting mostly of emotional closure and foreshadowing for things to come. As pure character and plot development, it's fine for what it is though."

She adds that, "All in all, it's an understated episode of one of the season's standout shows, functional and entertaining but reaching towards something beyond itself."

With another solid review, it looks like the latest "Fate/stay night" permutation is living up to all the expectations held for the series earlier this year. As the second highest anticipated fall anime, there was definitely a lot of pressure on Type-Moon, the studio behind "Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works," to make it as enjoyable as all the other installments in the "fate" series.
