Another Monday in Japan marks the newest episode of "Yowamushi Pedal" season two, "Grande Road." After all the buildup from the previous episode, including Midosuji's declaration that he would not race, fans finally get to witness some backstory on their favorite villain, as well as some wonderful understanding from Otaku Onoda.

Crunchyroll simulcasts "Yowamushi Pedal" but only for subscribers. Fans of the popular biking anime series however can find a link to watch "Yowamushi Pedal" season two episode five below.

Synopsis:

This week's episode begins where fans left off with Midosuji's declaration that he would not race after not only losing, but also cracking his perfect teeth. Midosuji soon speeds away, claiming that he's going to quit the bicycle club. His plans for escape by riding back to Kyoto are thwarted however when he runs into an awkward yet adorable Onoda who bonds with him over anime. Onoda inspires Midosuji not to give up racing, and he returns with a new haircut and repaired teeth. Some more drama happens and the episode ends at the race starting line. But there's also a wonderful fanservice singing of the Hime song after the ending theme.
