Korean media is questioning the relationship of Girls' Generation's Taeyeon and EXO's Baekhyun after Taeyeon unfollowed numerous Instagram accounts, including Baekhyun's.

On November 7, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon unfollowed multiple Instagram accounts, resulting in the idol only following 12 accounts. While Taeyeon continued to follow other SM Entertainment artists, she unfollowed her confirmed boyfriend, EXO's Baekhyun. Baekhyun still follows Taeyeon's account.

Shortly after the unfollowing spree took place, Korean media outlets began to question the relationship of the two idols.

Taeyeon is still follinwg Girls' Generation members, as well as Super Junior's Kim Heechul, several SM Entertainment staff members, and Taeyeon fan accounts.

Baekhyun and Taeyeon's relationship was confirmed in June, when Korean outlet Dispatch released pictures of the two idols on a date. A scandal broke following fans determining that the two had posted secret messages to one another on their Instagram accounts. The negative reaction affected ticket sales at Baekhyun's musical.

The two were not photographed together at SMTown's annual Halloween party, which took place the first week of November.

Baekhyun's last picture uploaded to Instagram is from June. Taeyeon's last update was posted on November 5, when she shared pictures of her costume from SMTown's Halloween party.

The pictures that fans linked as images relating to Taeyeon and Baekhyun's relationship, including an infamous Oreo picture, were not deleted from Taeyeon's account.

Taeyeon is not the only Girls' Generation member who confirmed her relationship in 2014. Other members, Tiffany, YoonA, Sooyoung, and Hyoyeon, all were involved in news relating to their relationship statuses.

Both Girls' Generation and EXO made headlines in 2014 for having members leave the group. EXO's Kris and Luhan both filed lawsuits against SM Entertainment, while Girls' Generation's Jessica was asked to leave the previously nine-member group once she started pursuing a fashion career. Jessica is still formally under SM Entertainment as an artist.

Neither idol, nor SM Entertainment, has addressed the rumors about a possible break-up.
