Robin Williams Death: Investigation Reveals That The Legendary Comedian Committed Suicide With No Alcohol Or Illegal Drugs Involved! The 'Mrs. Doubtfire' Actor Was Being Treated For Parkinson’s

Three months after legendary comedian Robin Williams was found dead at his home in Tiburon, CA, both the authorities as well as coroner have bring down the curtain on their investigation into the star's death.

The Marin County Sheriff's Office and the coroner learned that Williams passed from asphyxia due to hanging as a medium of suicide.

In August when the 'Mrs. Doubtfire' star committed suicide, he had anti-depressants in his system but not alcohol or illegal drugs, the Coroner in Marin County, California revealed in a new report issued on Friday. Williams, who was in the initial stages of Parkinson's disease was also coping with depression, anxiety and paranoia, however, he was sober at the time of his death.

The report revealed that there were "therapeutic concentrations" of medication in Williams' bodies. The week before the comedian who rose to fame as Mork in the TV series 'Mork & Mindy' (1978-82) killed himself, he was prescribed Seroquel, a drug for bipolar disorders and depression. Williams started suffering from Parkinson's back in 2011 and had been taking levodopa lately to treat it. Moreover, the web browser on Williams' iPad indicates that the veteran actor was looking at online discussions of medications including Lyrica and propranolol.

The legendary actor killed himself on August 11 by hanging himself with a belt after attempting to cut his wrist with a pocket knife. The night before he died, Williams made his last outgoing call of 38-second to his wife, Susan who informed authorities that he was picking up magazines for her on his way home. William's widow further added that he seemed "excited" the last time she saw him at around 10:30 p.m. Susan said, as he battled depression, Williams had not watched TV or read anything in months.

Authorities asked Susan if Williams had an interest in auto-erotica citing the way he died. His wife said, he did not but she stated that William's World's Greatest Dad character's son died from autoerotic asphyxiation in that movie and that had been "difficult and emotional" for the actor.

Before William's dead body was removed from the house, his wife, Susan along with Sheriff's deputies prayed over it and his ashes were scattered off the California coast on August 22.

Our thoughts and our heartfelt sympathy go out to William's family and friends.
