Esther Jenner, Bruce Jenner's mom ripped his controlling monster ex, Kris Jenner claiming, her son, Bruce can finally be himself again. Moreover, Esther hates Kris so much that she hopes she changes her name back to Kardashian. Here's what we know!

According to Bruce's mom, Esther, her son is very happy to have divorced Kris and can finally be himself again. Esther Jenner, 88, who has never been a fan of the Kardashian matriarch, opened up for the first time about Bruce's marriage to Kris.

Esther Jenner: Thrilled Controlling Monster Is Gone

Esther told Mail Online that she didn't speak her mind during Bruce and Kris' 23-year marriage but now she's not biting her tongue anymore.

Before she ripped into Kris, Esther said, "I have to be truthful. One thing I'm not, I'm not a phony, and I get in a lot of trouble sometimes for saying it like it is." When asked if she thought Kris is a controlling monster, Esther said, "That's accurate. I don't know why she is. I don't think she treated anybody very well."

"She could insult you with a big smile on her face, I know. What do you do with a person like that? You're going to avoid them if possible. She was backstabbing as far as my grandchildren were concerned, and that is something I can't stand. She's domineering - it's do it her way, or there's no way. I had very little to do with Kris. I stayed away from her as much as I could," Esther added.

Esther Jenner Calls Kris A Bad Mom

Talking of Bruce's life post-Kris, Esther said, "He is ecstatically happy right now. When I talk to him I can hear it in his voice and he's spending a lot more time with his kids. I don't think he's a bit lonely. He seems like he's himself again."

She added, "Since he has got his freedom he has his own checkbook and doesn't have to ask Kris for money which he's had to do, he couldn't even buy one of his little helicopters without asking her for money. He's not shy about telling you that she controlled the money. Bruce sounds so much happier now, when I talk to him he sounds like himself. I'm delighted."

Esther Jenner's Reaction To The News Of Bruce & Kris' Divorce

When Bruce informed his mom, Esther that he was divorcing Kris, she said her reaction was, "Hallelujah. It was necessary."

Esther added, "The last time I was down there Bruce was taking me back to Oxnard to get the plane, we were in a little park in Malibu and reporters were all over him asking him questions... he didn't even admit to me that he already had the house rented in Malibu, and at that time he'd already made the break."

Infact, Esther believes, it was her son, Bruce who decided to end the marriage and not Kris. She said, "I have a feeling it was him (that made the break,) the way things were going."

And to add to the injury, Esther is hoping that Kris changes her name back to Kardashian as she doesn't want to be linked with Kris in any way anymore!

She said, "I hope she changes her name back to Kardashian I don't want her to carry the name."

Considering Esther is talking about her grandchildren's mother, some of things she said were indeed shocking!
