Kate Middleton displayed a bigger baby bump when the Duchess of Cambridge arrived in New York City with husband Prince William. The royal couple is reportedly trying to woo America's rich for their favorite charities while they are on tour.

The Duchess of Cambridge is already five months pregnant that even her thick coat from Seraphine, a British maternity brand, could not hide. They motored to the Carlyle Hotel and were greeted by hotel executives amid screaming fans.

"The hotel, where a suite can cost $14,000 (£9,000)-a-night, will be the royal couple's base for the next two nights before they fly back to the UK immediately after their last engagement on Tuesday night," said MailOnline.

In another article from the British tabloid, Kate Middleton's baby bump would be on full display as she and Prince William will headline a super secret fund-raising dinner at the house of Sir Martin Sorrell and wife Christiana in Manhattan.

The dinner featuring the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will invite 15 couples who will shell out $50,000 for the privilege.

Proceeds from the fund-raising event will go to Royal Foundation.

"The dinner on the first night is essentially a fundraiser. The people William and Kate will be meeting are not celebrities but seriously wealthy hedge fund types and financiers," a source told the tabloid.

"William and Kate are principally there to meet and greet and to raise money for the foundation. The couples attending are being asked to pay thousands of dollars to be there, and there is a lot of talk about cash for access," the insider added.

Prince William, Kate Middleton and her baby bump will be hobnobbing with America's elite, according to The Daily Beast for the three-day tour, which will include a meeting with President Obama in the White House and probably a basketball game between the Duke of Cambridge and POTUS.
