Another new episode of "Gugure Kokkuri-san" is now available to watch online. The new episode entitled "Kureha's Days Spent Waiting In Vain," was simulcast for fans outside of Japan thanks to Crunchyroll. Synopsis:

               This week's episode begins with a beautiful woman underneath a tree with red leaves. She's waiting for someone. That woman eventually meets Kohina and Kokkuri on their way to a supermarket for a cup noodles sale. The woman, named Kureha, asks if they will find the person she's waiting for. She gives them a picture of him, and they head into town.

               Kohina and Kokkuri ask Tengu for help, but he refuses unless they pay him with pictures of young boys. Jokes about pedophilia ensue, until he settles for transforming Kokkuri into a young boy and taking pictures of him. Tengu informs them that the person they're looking for died decades ago. He also states that Kureha is actually a ghost attached to the tree, doomed to wait for eternity. It seems her friend that she was supposed to meet died when he went off to war.

               Kohina and Kokkuri inform Kureha that the man she's looking for cannot come back. Kureha then cries that she can finally move onto the afterlife. She wasn't able to before because she wasn't certain. Shigaraki, who joined their search while in town, tries to summon the spirit of the missing man, but the underworld hangs up on him. But actually it's just that Shigaraki doesn't have any money on his prepaid phone.

               Kokkuri does the talking with the underworld. He finds out that Kureha's boyfriend can't be invoked because he asked for immediate reincarnation. He was reborn as the very tree that she has been waiting at this entire time. Meanwhile, Inugami still refuses to come home. He wanders the earth aimlessly until he realizes every thought he has is for Kohina.
