The stereotypical Cinderella story. However "My Daughter Seo Young" is planning to set itself apart with its speed.

On the Sunday episode of "My Daughter Seo Young," Kang Woo Jae (Lee Sang Yoon) gets permission to marry Seo Young (Lee Bo Young) from her father on the condition that he would help out with the company work.

Within 8 episodes, the marriage was already allowed, which is incredibly fast for this type of Korean drama. The problem is, Seo Young herself has not truly made up her mind about her own marriage. Kang Woo Jae, who found it difficult to convince Seo Young, convinced her parents first which is partly romantic and partly ridiculous. 

When "My Daughter Seo Young" first aired, people were wondering if it was just another Cinderella story. It's incredibly easy to predict and even predict who will fall in love with whom and what will happen in the end. 

However, "My Daughter Seo Young" is not just another Cinderella story. The characters are different and the speed is notably different.

Seo Young is totally different from all the other Cinderellas. She's not outgoing or bubbly but rather seems like a block of wood when it comes to showing emotion. She's not lovely, even to say that she's hard to approach for characters. 

The speed at which she's becoming a Cinderella is already much faster than others. Their marriage already seems to be going ahead even when she herself is not convinced of whether she wants to marry him. However, they had to face disapproval from the parents even before she could disagree with them. 

Why is this drama arriving here so fast? Woo Jae says to Seo Young, "I know you must be shocked at how fast it is but it's only possible because it's you and me. You and me, who love themselves more than anyone else. The two of us have gone insane." This means that he's putting his prized pride aside and that he truly loves her. 

Viewers are wondering whether "My Daughter Seo Young" has a secret weapon since they arrived at this romance so quickly.
