YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk Reportedly Too Busy To Talk To The Press Amidst iKON's Debut Preparations

With upcoming boy band iKON slated to debut early next year, it appears YG Entertainment co-founder and CEO Yang Hyun Suk is determined to keep the promise.

According to Soompi, a reporter was declined for an interview by Yang, due to his busy preparations for iKON's debut.

"I couldn't spare some time because I'm busy working on iKON's debut preparations," said the 45-year-old CEO.

"I won't look back to the past. I even lack the time to prepare the things that YG has to do in the future."

"Because iKON is composed of young people who have experienced the bitter taste of life, their desire to win and zest for life are stronger. They even possess the ability to make songs in a traditional hip-hop environment so I am looking forward to their future."

"Please look forward to iKON."

Prior to their debut, members of iKON have participated in musical collaborations with other artists of YG Entertainment, including with Dok2, Masta Wu and Epik High. In addition, iKON members Bobby and B.I also participated in WINNER's debut album this year, when iKON was known as Team B.

"Team B's member B.I. and Bobby participated in WINNER's debut album just for collaboration, so don't' get it wrong," said Yang Hyun Suk prior to WINNER's debut. "Team B's help for WINNER's debut does not mean that Team B will not make debut."

After losing to WINNER on the talent reality series "WIN: Who is Next?", the six members of Team B competed in a new series called "Mix & Match" along with three new YG trainees to form iKON. In the end, all six members of Team B survived the series along with newcomer Jung Chanwoo.

Meanwhile, WINNER has announced their Worldwide Inner Circle Conference 2015-global fanmeetings with dates set for Korea, Japan and China.
