Listen To ‘Knights Of Sidonia' Season 2 Ending Theme By Customi-Z Before It Premieres In April [VIDEO]

While Funimation and Crunchyroll are usually considered the leading anime streaming companies, Netflix shouldn't be counted out, as they too are taking interest in the industry.

Even if a lot of their anime comes from deals with Funimation.

Netflix recently ventured in original content and exclusively streamed the anime series "Knights of Sidonia," which is based on the manga series by Tsutomu Nihei. "Knights of Sidonia" season two is confirmed for release later this year, but fans can preview the upcoming season's ending theme by watching the new music video featuring Japanese boy group Customi-Z.

For those who may have been hesitant to approach an anime exclusively licensed by Netflix need only read the positive reviews by fans to possibly change their minds.

"This series was a great experience and fun to watch. The animation makes the character interaction more memorable and the action scenes fantastic. I know some people have a problem with CG animation, but don't dislike this series without giving it a shot," said one Member Reviewer on Netflix.

Reviews on My Anime List are not as positive for the series, but given the decision to continue into a second season, "Knights of Sidonia" is clearly popular with a substantial amount of anime viewers.

Nevertheless, before the second season premieres, fans can listen to the ending theme song by Japanese boy group Customi-Z. According to Crunchyroll, the song was featured as the ending theme in the advanced screening event for "Knights of Sidonia" season two in Tokyo.

Customi-Z, which previously performed an ending theme for anime series "Shonen Hollywood Holly Stage for 49," released the single "Hitosuji no Hikari" (A ray of light) as their first large debut with their King Records label.

Netflix provides the following synopsis for "Knights of Sidonia":

"An original anime series about Nagate, a low-born youth in a society of genetically engineered humans, refugees that escaped the destruction of Earth one thousand years earlier and now occupy the massive ship Sidonia. When Nagate's talent as a pilot is revealed he becomes one of Sidonia's elite defenders against the Gauna, shapeshifting aliens bent on eliminating humans from existence. Based on the popular Japanese manga comic."
