Watch Wit Studio's Final ‘The Rolling Girls' Countdown Trailers Before Funimation Streams The Series [VIDEOS]

Winter anime season 2015 has arrived full force with cooking girls, harems, "Tokyo Ghoul," and alien teachers that are creepy and yet somehow caring.

With that kind of lineup, it seems there's plenty of room for scantily-clad girls on motorbikes in a dystopian Japan.

While most fans of Wit Studio may have only heard of them because of their dilligent work on Hajime Isayama's "Attack on Titan" series, the studio now has its own anime original entitled "The Rolling Girls." So far, artists on the series have been counting down the days until the premiere with artwork and the final countdown videos have now arrived.

Early reactions to Wit Studio's "The Rolling Girls" anime trailers have been positive and mostly focused on the girls riding motorcycles.

"Hmm. Will give this a try. I like the voice cast and character design. Plus, y'know, motorcycles. It's like a ‘MOE' Easy Rider. (... Moe Rider?)," commented Rcsatcrunchyroll.

"Man that's a sweet bike," exclaimed FunkKlock.

"Babes on bikes, I'm in," said ParadoxSpiral.

Crunchyroll reports that key crew for the series includes Kotomi Deai ("Silver Spoon") who will direct, Yasayuki Muto ("Afro Samurai") who is the screenwriter, and Katsuki Kitada who will design the characters based on Tanu's original drawings.

Speaking of Tanu, the artist has released several illustrations for "The Rolling Girls" in promotion of its upcoming release date. Some of those drawings are featured in the countdown videos below.

The characters that Tanu focused on are the main cast. The voice acting cast is reported by Anime News Network as follows: Ari Ozawa will play Nozomi Mortomo, Rina Hidaka will play Yukina Kosaka, Risa Taneda will play Ai Hibiki, and Yumiri Hanamori will play Chiaya Misono.

Funimation describes the story of "The Rolling Girls" as follows:

"Gun your engines and get ready for the full-throttle adventure of The Rolling Girls, the first original anime from the studio that brought you Attack on Titan! In the wake of the Great Tokyo War, Japan - as the world once knew it - no longer exists.

What remains is a fragmented network of independent nations, each ruled by a prophet known as a Mosa. Every Mosa commands an army, or Mob, as they seek to conquer anyone in their path. Enter Nozomi, Yukina, Ai, and Chiaya. Together, these intrepid and adorable girls travel across battle-ravaged Japan, seeking to transform themselves - and their world!"

"The Rolling Girls" will stream on Funimation starting January 10.
