Watch New ‘Tokyo Ghoul Carnaval' Mobile Game Trailer Featuring Narration By Ken Kaneki Voice Actor Natsuki Hanae [VIDEO]

Anime fans can't get enough of "Tokyo Ghoul" and as such, it makes sense that there would be a new mobile game featuring characters from the popular series.

Because as scary as ghouls are, you're better off when you can face them on the same side as Ken Kaneki.

An all new trailer for the new mobile game "Tokyo Ghoul carnaval" is now streaming online. The trailer, which gives a brief glimpse of gameplay, features narration by everyone's favorite human ghoul, Ken Kaneki, as voiced by Natsuki Hanae.

While "Tokyo Ghoul" is a very popular anime, fans were somewhat disappointed to hear that the follow up season would only be 12 episodes:

"Kinda expected this... Oh well, at least I hope it will have some memorable parts. I would of preferred a 2 cour adaptation," commented Stark700 in an ANN forum.

"By not following the manga, I hope they are able to give it some semblance of a conclusion. That's all I ask for with this second season," explained Relyat08. "I was pretty disappointed when I found out the first season was only 12 episodes, but if they manage to give us some closure with another 12 episode season I will be happy."

Perhaps "Tokyo Ghoul carnaval" will give fans something to satiate themselves with once the 12 episodes of "Tokyo Ghoul Root A" are finished airing.

Anime News Network reports that "Tokyo Ghoul carnaval" allows players to explore a 3D map and choose a between ghouls and investigators to create a team. The team however differs depending on if it's comprised of ghouls or investigators. The game is set to be released in Japan sometime this year and will be free with in-game purchases.

Funimation describes the currently airing season of "Tokyo Ghoul Root A" as follows:

"In modern day Tokyo, society lives in fear of Ghouls: mysterious creatures who look exactly like humans -- yet hunger insatiably for their flesh. None of this matters to Ken Kaneki, a bookish and ordinary young man, until a dark and violent encounter turns him into the first ever Ghoul-human half breed.

Trapped between two worlds, Ken must survive the violent conflicts of warring Ghoul factions, while attempting to learn more about Ghoul society, his newfound powers, and the fine line between man and monster."
