Just this year, Ailee's talented vocals have been highlighted by big names in Korea. Prior to her debut, she was under the wing of many indie artists for a couple of year and then was featured with Wheesung on a MBC Chuseok Special "Singer and Trainee." On the show she showcased her 'heavenly' vocal skills to a panel of judges againast other trainees and won the special.

After her debut song "Heaven," she was given a role in the drama "Dream High 2" with other idols such as JYP, After School's former member, Park Kahi, rookie idols JJ Project, 2AM's Jung JinWoon, SISTAR's Hyorin, T-ara's Jiyeon and rising actress Kang Sora. 

On a community board, there were photos of her pre-debut dated a few years ago. In the photos was a younger Ailee and big American celebrites such as producers and musicans, Pharrel Williams, Swiss Beats, Busta Rhymes and Common. Causing a big stir to many netizens. Many wonder about her connections to be able to meet with the following stars but that's really impressive Ailee!
