Today marks another new episode of "Tokyo Ghoul: Root A" or "Tokyo Ghoul" season two. Episode 3 entitled "Hangman" was streamed to fans outside of Japan thanks to Funimation. For those without subscriptions however, below are two links to websites where fans can watch episodes of "Tokyo Ghoul" season two for free online.

Synopsis:

This week's episode begins with Kaneki and Ayato attacking a police convoy. The rest of the Aogiri appear and prepare to attack but the plan is interrupted by two new ghouls who attack Kaneki. They also appear to have one human eye and one ghoul eye. The prisoner bursts out of the back of the vehicle and starts attacking Ayato, crying that he wants to see Boss Yamori.

Elsewhere, Touka makes food while Hinami reads a book. They hear about Kaneki's attack on the city and Hinami says that she believes Kaneki must have a good reason. Touka requests that they no longer discuss Kaneki.

Takatsuki Sen is having a book signing, so Hinami heads off wearing some of Touka's clothes for the trip. She wants to go alone as to not rely on Touka so much. Nishiki invites Touka to visit Kamii College. After taking her around, he goes off to leave her to explore and experience Kamii. Touka finds a missing poster for Kaneki. The poster is taken down by Hideyoshi, who notices Touka.

Hideyoshi and Touka have some coffee together. They talk about what Kaneki was like in the past. Hideyoshi tells a story about when Kaneki once starred in a stage play. Suddenly Touka muses that Kaneki might be around just reading a book. Hideyoshi tells her a secret: whenever Kaneki is hiding something he holds his chin.

Hinami gets a signed copy of the book for Kaneki. It appears the writer of the book may be a one-eyed ghoul like Kaneki. Hideyoshi grabs some more information while delivering a package at the CCG. Meanwhile at the Aoigiri, the prisoner continues to freak out about Boss Yamori. A rumor floats around that Kaneki ate boss Yamori... but then Tsukiyama appears and attacks. He rambles on about how spicy Kaneki makes things.

Another meeting at the CCG: The members discuss Kaneki's initial accident and disappearance along with the doctor that performed his surgery. It all coincides with the appearance of the "Eye-patch" ghoul.

Touka and Hideyoshi worry about Kaneki as they try to sleep. Meanwhile, Kaneki and Ayato overlook a new target.
